This Winchester manufactured first variation complete receiver assembly with the word "Winchester" on the belly is for the model 37 Steelbilt single barrel shotgun in 16 gauge and is in very good condition exhibiting a pleasing brown patina with traces of original blue finish in protected areas and containing specks of rust. This is the only part on the model 37 Steelbilt shotgun that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
